Sample 1: Corporate Acronyms: What are we talking about?

Tools Used: Articulate Rise 360, Canva

Highlights: Scenario-based learning, blocked interactions, microlearning template.

Training Purpose: Designed specifically for new professionals entering the corporate arena, this training addresses the importance of acclimating to the corporate environment. In addition to acquiring essential skills, mastering corporate jargon is crucial for assimilation and comprehending the intricacies of projects and tasks. This micro-lesson focuses on imparting a comprehensive understanding of essential acronyms, laying the groundwork for success in the corporate landscape.

Job Aid #2: Running Fuel Recommendations

Highlights: Job Aid infographics to pair with full e-learning course on same topic.

Training Purpose: This training program was tailored for a national running group organization, aiming to equip running coaches with essential knowledge. Its objective was to educate coaches about safety protocols and guidelines to effectively lead their groups, minimizing potential hazards. The primary business objective of this training was to reduce injuries among runners during long runs and mitigate the associated membership attrition.

Sample 3: Promotional Video for River-City Virtual Assistants

Tools Used: Camtasia, Amazon Polly voiceover AI

Highlights: Short explainer video using AI neural voiceover, multiple tracks, layered annotations and visual effects including zoomed in regions, panning and highlights.

Purpose: To inform viewers about RVCA and what they offer to businesses, individuals, or busy families.

Sample 4: Promotional Video for EOL Alliance – Compassionate Care: A Journey through Hospice and End-of-Life Support

Tools Used: Vyond, Canva, Pixabay sound effects

Highlights: Explainer animated video using AI neural voiceover, scene transitions and camera zoom effects, sound bites, customized characters, and customized organization pamphlets using branding guidelines.

Purpose: This video is an animated explainer video on the Hospice process from initial admission of a patient, to continuous care, to after death support for families. Topics of this nature are not typically thought of to be created using animation; my goal was to prove that tough topics can still be discussed and presented in a professional and empathetic manner using animation software.

In this infographic I expand on various ways that Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) has enhanced the world of Instructional Design. As an emerging instructional designer, I fully grasp that technology has benefited this industry and try to stay up to date on tools to better suit my training courses.
